Profile:

Annette holds an MA Honors Degree from Bonn University, Germany in Japanese Studies and Public International Law.
In addition to her native language German she is fluent
in English and Japanese
and has basic knowledge of
                                                            French and Chinese.                                                         
Annette has extensive experience and expertise in international business with focus on the US, European and Japanese markets. Since 2006 she is Owner and Managing Director of Main(e) International Consulting LLC, assisting Asian, American and European Companies with Marketing, Business Development and Supply Chain projects. Her industry focus areas are consumer goods as well as companies providing products and services in the renewable energy sector, especially wind power.

Prior to starting Main(e) International Consulting LLC Annette held the position of Vice President Marketing Asia Pacific at a major US consumer goods brand. In this position she was in charge of marketing and product development for all Asia Pacific countries, including India.

From 1997 to 2002 Annette held various senior Marketing and Marketing Operations positions at the US subsidiary of a European consumer products brand..

Annette acquired her extensive experience in the Japanese market during her studies and from 1992 – 1997 when working in various Marketing and Business Development Functions at Waterford Wedgwood Japan Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan.

Prior to moving to Japan Annette was the Assistant to the Chief Correspondent of the Japanese Newspaper Asahi Shimbun at their office in Bonn, Germany.
